Who We Are

We're not your typical suit-and-tie firm. Just a group of people who really care about making spaces that actually work for how people live and work.

Our Story

Started back in 2012 with just three of us in a cramped office downtown. We were tired of seeing cookie-cutter designs that ignored what buildings do to our environment. So we figured, why not do things differently?

Fast forward to today and we've grown into a team that's genuinely passionate about sustainable design. Not the greenwashing kind - the real deal. We've completed over 150 projects across Ontario, and honestly, we're still learning something new with each one.

The folks who make it happen

Sarah Quinthar

Sarah Quinthar

Principal Architect

Been designing buildings for 18 years now. Still get excited about a good floor plan. LEED AP certified, but more importantly, I actually believe in this stuff.

Former contractor turned architect. Means I actually know if something can be built before we draw it. Keeps things real.

Lisa Chen

Design Lead

Obsessed with natural light and how spaces make you feel. Probably spent too much time studying Scandinavian design, but no regrets.

The numbers guy who makes sure projects don't go sideways. Also really good at talking clients down from expensive material choices.

Priya Kapoor

Priya Kapoor

Interior Specialist

Makes interiors work without making them look like they tried too hard. Big on texture and keeping things livable.

Heritage restoration specialist. If it's old and falling apart, James can probably save it. Bit of a history nerd, but that's why we love him.

How We Work

We're pretty straightforward about our process. First, we listen - and I mean really listen - to what you need. Not what we think you should want, but what'll actually make your life or business better.

Then we get into the design phase where we balance aesthetics with functionality and sustainability. Every material choice matters. Every window placement counts. We're kinda picky about it, but that's the job.

Throughout construction, we're on site regularly. Not micromanaging, but making sure what we designed is what you're getting. Had too many projects go sideways because architects disappeared after the drawings were done.
